Iran Rejects Gas Discount Speculations

The director for international affairs at the National Iranian Gas Company, Azizollah Ramezani, said Monday, “Iran has reached no agreement with Turkish BOTAS Petroleum Pipeline Corporation concerning the exported gas price to Turkey.” The official reiterated that the price at which gas is being sold to BOTAS at present is not only reasonable but also fair. Consequently, Iran intends neither to review nor decrease prices, Mehr News Agency reported.
