The Parsian Gas refinery has produced 5.31 million barrels of gas condensate during the first six months of the current Iranian calendar year (Began March 21), Shana news agency reported.

The produced condensate will be stored in four, 18,000 cubic meters, storage facilities, transferred to Assalouyeh, and then exported. According to the managing director of Parsian Gas Refinery Co., the gas condensate produced in Parsian refinery is globally distinctive in terms of its composition, and thus it has specific customers.

During the first 200 days of the current year, the refinery produced 13.5 billion cubic meters of refined gas, which has been distributed to the national pipeline network.

With a production capacity of 83 million cubic meters, the Parsian refinery is the country’s third largest refinery in terms of production, and provides gas to Fars, Yazd, Isfahan, and Qom provinces, as well as parts of Tehran.

Iran exported 9.223 million tons of gas condensate, worth $6.514 billion, during the six-month period. This figure indicates an 85-percent increase.  The largest buyers of Iranian crude and condensate are China, India, Japan, South Korea, and Turkey.
