Russia's biggest oil producer Rosneft plans to boost hydrocarbon production by almost a fifth to 300 million tons of oil equivalent by 2020 by speeding up the development of upstream projects and improving the quality of drilling, Business Recorder reported. This represents an almost 20% increase compared with the 63.2 million tons, or 5.2 million barrels of oil equivalent per day, produced in the first quarter.
