The UK’s National Trust will invest $46.7 million in clean energy to power its properties. The charity plans to back more than 40 projects as it strives to get half its energy from renewables by the end of the decade. Installing renewables will help the trust shave about £4 million a year off its energy bills, Bloomberg reported.
