A piece of manufacturing machinery for oil and gas extraction was inaugurated on Kish Island, in southern Iran, in order to replace the US equipment previously used. The plant known as Kish Well Completion Equipment Factory (KCT) has been constructed jointly by Iran’s Petropars Well Services Company and a European firm at a cost of $7 million, Shana news agency reported.
