SOCAR Suspends Carbamide Project

Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR has suspended construction of the carbamide plant in Georgia’s territory, SOCAR president Rovnag Abdullayev told reporters. This decision has been made because of the failure to complete the certain negotiations with Georgian government, Azer News quoted him as saying. The investment cost of the project was $100 million. Completion of the construction was expected to end in 2016.
