Iran Extends Iraq Power Contract

Deputy Energy Minister Houshang Falahatian said the country has extended its contract for supplying power to Iraq until the end of the year. Fars news agency quoted Falahatian as saying that the Iranian and Iraqi officials have decided to start a new round of negotiations for continued cooperation in 2015.
