the water and wastewater industry has reached self-sufficiency, as 95% of its equipment is manufactured domestically, Hamidreza Janbaz, managing director of the National Water & Wastewater Engineering Company (NWWEC) said, adding that global sanctions against Iran has not affected the water sector, ISNA reported.
