The profit from investments in energy conservation projects would be three times higher than that of oil investments, Nosratollah Seifi, managing director of Iran's Fuel Conservation Organization (IFCO), was quoted by Shana news agency as saying. A total of $20billion has been allocated to nine energy conservation projects so far, with three more projects pending approval.
