Establishment of wastewater treatment plants is underway in 270 cities across the country, with mountainous and remote areas in priority, Hamidreza Janbaz, managing director of the National Water and Wastewater Engineering Co. said on Friday. He added that $500 million is anticipated in next year's budget for development of water and wastewater sector, ISNA reported.
