Gas Supply to Industries Rise by 13% in 5 Months

Gas supply to the major industries of Iran, including steel, cement and petrochemicals plants, increased by 13% in the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 22-Aug. 22) compared with the same period of last year, managing director of the National Iranian Gas Company said.
“During the same period, large industrial units across the country were supplied with 145 million cubic meters of gas per day,” Majid Chegeni was also quoted as saying by the Oil Ministry’s news agency Shana. 
This is while between March and August in 2021, about 128 mcm of gas were supplied to the industries per day, he added.
