Iran Gains Knowhow to Repair Welded Ball Valves

Iran has acquired the knowhow to repair different types and sizes of fully welded ball valves, managing director of the National Iranian Gas Company said.
“The country is now among a few in the world with this knowhow,” Majid Chegeni was also quoted as saying by the Oil Ministry’s news agency Shana.
A fully welded valve is designed with a welded and forged body to reduce weight and increase strength while eliminating several potential leak points. They are used to connect and shut off the flow in different pipeline systems.
