A senior oil ministry official has said that the European Union’s decision to re-impose sanctions on the National Iranian Tanker Company (NITC) is politically motivated. “When a move is political, even court and good defense will have no meaning,” Mohammad Souri, deputy oil minister for strategic affairs, was quoted by ISNA as saying on Saturday.
