Isfahan Oil Refining Company has indigenized 350 equipment used in its various sections with the assistance of local experts.
The production of parts cost less than 1$ million and has consequently helped save more than $2 million, which would have to be spent if they were imported, the Oil Ministry’s news agency Shana reported.
Utilizing the expertise and efforts of domestic companies and manufacturers, more than 80% of the parts and equipment required by the Isfahan Refinery are now met inside the country, without the need to purchase from foreign companies.
