Ardabil’s Largest Dam to Be Launched in February 2022

The construction of Emarat Dam in Germi County in northwestern Ardabil Province has registered 95% physical progress and will be launched in February 2022, Mehr News Agency reported.
Built on Darehroud river about 80 kilometers from Germi County, the dam will be completed at a cost of $20 million.
With a capacity of 182 million cubic meters of water, Emarat Dam is the largest in Ardabil Province and can irrigate 23,000 hectares of farmlands.
