The National Iranian Oil Company is ready to export crude oil from its new terminal at Jask off the Sea of Oman, the head of NIOC said.
“The construction of the 1,000-km Goureh-Jask oil pipeline that stretches from Goureh Oil Terminal in Bushehr Province to Jask Port in Hormozgan Province is complete and the project will officially come on stream soon,” Masoud Karbasian was also quoted as saying by IRNA.
In the first phase completed in May, the conduit carried 300,000 barrels of crude per day from West Karoun oilfields to the southern coast of Sea of Oman with the help of two pumping stations, he added.
Karbasian noted that in the second phase, three more pumping stations were added to boost the pipeline’s capacity to 1 million barrels per day.”
