Norwegian energy firm Statoil found up to 82 million barrels of oil equivalents in a North Sea prospect, more than earlier thought. The prospect, near the Oseberg South field, is now thought to contain between 50 million and 82 million barrels of oil equivalents (boe), according to an appraisal well, more than a preliminary estimate for between 13 and 57 million boe, Reuters reported.
