The Iranian Central Oil Fields Company, a subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Company, has launched operations to develop three gas fields in Fars Province, the managing director said.
According to the Oil Ministry’s website, Ramin Hatami added that the plan is aimed at raising output in Homa, Varavi and Tabnak gas fields by building more gas boosting pressure stations.
“Estimated to cost $300 million, the plan will help raise recovery rate at the fields by at least five times,” he said.
