Polymer Company Reports Higher Sales

Arya Sasol Polymer Company (ASPC) earned $620 million in sales in the first 11 months of the current Persian calendar year (March 2020-Feb 2021), which was up 95% compared to the same period last year.
Regarding the volume of sales in the domestic and international markets, the company reported 4% rise compared to last year, Naftema website reported.
ASPC sold over one million tons of products in the 11 months. The products prices of the company have had an average increase of 88% compared to last year.
With more than 900 workers, Arya Sasol produces ethylene, polyethylene and other polymers. It is located in the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone in the Asalouyeh port city. The company exports nearly 90% of what it produces.
With expansion programs underway, polymer production is to reach an estimated two million tons a year by 2025.
Arya Sasol Polymer Company unveiled two new grades of high-density polyethylene at the Iran Plast exposition earlier this month in Tehran.
HEX4460-PE80+ is used to produce polyethylene pressure pipes for irrigation and water supply. HBM5510 can be used for producing large blow molded parts appropriate for shipping and storing hazardous chemicals and acidic liquids.
