Respite for Gavkhouni Wetland

Water supply from Rudashtin Dam, on Zayandehroud River, to farmlands has ended, and in the past several days water from the reservoir is directed towards the Gavkhouni Wetland, the deputy for conservation and utilization at the Isfahan Regional Water Company said.
Since the beginning of the current water year (Sept 2019), over 41 million cubic meters of water was released from the dam for use in 10,000 hectares of farms. Now water from the dam is transferred to the famous wetland, Mehr News Agency reported Hassan Sasani as saying.
