Local Firms Help in Completing 1,000km Oil Pipeline to Jask

Manufacturing pumps to complete construction of the 1,000km pipeline to transfer oil from Goureh Oil Terminal in Bushehr Province to the port of Jask in Hormozgan Province is under way in PUMPIRAN and PETCO companies (in Tabriz, East Azarbaijan), managing director of the Petroleum Engineering and Development Co., a subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Company, said.
"The two firms have been tasked with manufacturing 50 heavy duty pumps," Touraj Dehghani was quoted as saying by IRNA.
