Iran: 400km Gas Pipelines Laid in 8 Months

Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company, a subsidiary of National Iranian Gas Company, delivered  18 pressure stations and laid 400 kilometers of gas pipelines during the first 8 months of the Iranian fiscal (March-November 2019) – a feat unprecedented in the history of the company, the managing director said.
“More than 177 km of pipelines will be laid by the end of the fiscal year (in March),” Energy Today website quoted Bahram Salavati as saying.
Regarding equipment and parts used in the gas transmission and distribution network, he said when raw material for some parts is available inside the country, the final product is 100% domestic-made.
