NIGC, Tavanir Obliged to Install Smart Gas, Electricity Meters

The National Iranian Gas Company and Iran Power Generation, Distribution and Transmission Company (Tavanir) have been instructed in the next fiscal budget  (March 2020-21) bill to install smart meters for  subscribers with heavy consumers topping the priority list. 
Also according to the new budget bill, regional water companies in Khuzestan Province and the Provincial Water and Power Authority should finance the purchase and installation of the new meters for water wells in the southern region, ISNA reported.
