Energy Ministry Signs Contracts With Knowledge-Based Firms

The Energy Ministry has signed agreements with knowledge-based firms and startups in the fields of robotics and industrial automation, deputy for research and human resources at the ministry said.
“According to available statistics, the ministry is relatively in good condition in terms of manufacturing technology. Almost 95% of the equipment are manufactured domestically, and a significant portion of this is provided by knowledge-based companies,” the ministry news portal Paven quoted Mohamad Saleh Olia as saying.
The contracts are worth $1 million, but “the capacity to build collaboration with knowledge-based companies is visibly much higher,” he added.
Designing and manufacturing turbine blades are among the recent projects undertaken by a subsidiary of the ministry in collaboration with a knowledge-based firm.
The ministry is preparing a new scheme to support knowledge-based companies and ease the process of collaboration, Saleh Olia noted.
A number of knowledge-based companies attended China’s High Technology Fair in Shenzhen, November 13-17, to help develop the export of Iranian knowledge-based products.
CHTF is the largest and most influential science and technology exhibition in various fields such as new generation of information technology, new fuel and energy electronic systems, biotechnology, and environmental protection.
Over 3,300 exhibitors attended the fair, and showcased more than 10,000 items in diverse sectors.
