Mohammad Baqer Nobakht, the head of Plan and Budget Organization of Iran, says despite sanctions, the government’s financial resources have increased more than 20% in the first seven months of the current year (March 21-Oct. 22) compared with the same period of last year.
"As much as 300 trillion rials ($2.04 billion) have been allocated to development projects during the seven-month period, almost twice that of last year’s 130 trillion rials ($887.37 million)," Nobakht was quoted as saying by IRNA.
