The number of trips made by Azerbaijani citizens to Iran has seen a 53.2% rise during the first nine months of 2018 compared with the same period of last year.
This is while 32.7% fewer Iranians traveled to Azerbaijan Republic over the same period, IRNA quoted the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan Republic as saying.
The number of Azerbaijanis travelling overseas during the nine-month period increased by 14.1% to reach 3,563,000, of which 30.7% travelled to Iran.
