National Postal Service Urged to Shape Up

The ICT minister has called on the officials in charge of Iran Post Company to adopt measures to broaden the business and increase revenues, through the expansion of services as the top authority sees more room for variety in the sector.
Mohammad Javad Azari-Jahromi held a meeting with post officials, in which he underlined the need to form a think tank to explore ways of recruiting youngsters as well as veterans to devise a plan for overhauling the Post Company, wrote the ministry's website.
Azari-Jahromi relished the idea of bringing diversity to the range of services already offered by the state-run firm, while enhancing the efficiency of the procedures to enable the company to compete with private-sector rivals.
