Measures to Sustain Telco Networks During Natural Disasters

Taking into account the fact that Iran is situated in an earthquake-prone zone, officials from the ICT Ministry held a meeting with local mobile service providers, discussing ways to mitigate the devastating effects of natural disasters on communications networks.

During a crisis management committee meeting in Tehran, Director of Tehran Province’s Information and Communication Technology Bureau Morteza Rezaei said, “One of the essential needs in times of crisis is to have access to stable communications services.”
