A domestic startup is offering food services to Tehran citizens planning parties or holding ceremonies. Firms and cultural bodies can also take advantage of the services for holding conferences.
The Tehran-based startup is dubbed “Mehmano”, a mash-up word made of “mehman” which means guest in Persian with an “O” added to the end which is a trendy naming style popular with Iranian startups.
Mehmano will come in handy for those planning to hold conventions, educational workshops, meetings, ceremonies, wedding parties and funerals, according to its website.
Mehmano delivers combos, which include fruits, refreshments, pastries and nuts, as well as light meals.
To submit an order, customers should specify the type of the event they are planning. Afterwards, they may choose the desired items, pick the package of their interest and eventually make an online payment to cover the expenses.
The business says on its website that the food materials are purchased on a daily basis, so customers need not be concerned about their freshness. Regarding hygienic issues, Mehmano ensures users that all products are washed meticulously prior to being packed.
Following eco-friendly policies, Mehmano uses packages made of biodegradable materials.
According to Mehmano’s official website, orders must be submitted at least 12 hours in advance. In case a customer makes orders containing more than 50 packages or simply more than once in a month, they will be entitled to special discounts.
According to the firm’s website, it has offered services to various entities, including Bank Saman, Bank Mellat, University of Tehran, Sharif University of Technology, Azad University and major Iranian startup accelerator DMOND.
