First Viral Marketing Service Launched

A local business Chandchin has started offering viral marketing services in Iran for the first time. Viral marketing, or viral advertisement, is a marketing technique that uses social media networks with the aim of promoting brand awareness or achieving other marketing objectives. According to the company’s official website, with the aim of getting a foothold in the market Chandchin is offering free of charge services. After registering a product on Chandchin, it will be listed on the website. Visitors are required to share advertisement links of the product on their social media networks to receive a ‘discount code.’  With the code individuals can purchase goods at a lower price through the website. Given the growing role and significance of social media platforms in recent years, viral marketing has become trendy in the developed countries and advertisement agencies are increasingly Facebook and Instagram as their main tools to capture a bigger share of the market, namely for consumer goods.
