MTN-Irancell has launched 12 new long-term Internet packages to claw back customers from rivals. According to a report in the local digital magazine Digiato, the company will offer the new packages in 3, 6 and 12-month schemes. The packages range from 9GB to 120 GB in the respective periods. The second biggest operator and now largest data supplier is offering deals including nine, 18, 24, 36, 48 and 72GB packages for three-month subscribers. This is while six-month packages include 18, 36 and 48GB downloads. In addition, the 12-month packages now range from 72, 96 and 120GB deals. Mobile Communications of Iran (MCI) otherwise known as Hamra e-Avval offers packages in the similar range, however, MTN’s offers usually trump that of the older mobile operator in terms of savings.
