Chinese smartphone maker Oukitel is releasing a new smartphone with a 10,000mAh battery which is likely to last days without needing to be charged. Called the K10000, it is set to be released globally in June and can charge in just three hours.
The major selling point of the Oukitel phone is the battery life; however other specifications are no better than many other phones in the market, according to Android Headlines. The phone will come with a 12V/12A ‘flash charger’ meaning it will take just three hours to fully charge the phone – long by normal smartphone standards, but you are getting two days charge with this device.
The original version of the phone was launched with a 1280x720 screen. The new version comes with a 1920x1080 resolution, 3GB of ram and storage of 32GB. The MediaTek processor is also getting an upgrade clocking at 1.5 GHz. The phone is not a stand out in terms of technology, but for those who are caught short looking for a USB port or power socket to charge their phones, they may be interested in the getting the device.
The previous K10000 version was for sale in Iran, according to local price checking website Emalls.ir, however no e-commerce store is currently stocking the device. That version sold for 7.2 million rials (€180) when it was for sale.
