Iran’s National Nanotechnology Initiative has released details of an agreement signed with the Nano Technology Research Association of Korea.
During a recent nano exhibition held in South Korea, Saeed Sarkar, the secretary of National Nanotechnology Initiative of Iran, and Hee-Gook Lee, the chairman of NTRA, signed the memorandum, Mehr News Agency reported.
Expanding cooperation between the developers and users of nanotech products is one of the main objectives of the deal.
Exchange of information concerning products and technologies, identifying developers and clients, and jointly hosting seminars and workshops were among other articles of the deal.
NANO KOREA, consisting of a symposium and exhibition, was held for three days from July 13 to 15, 2016, at KINTEX (Korea International Exhibition Center) with the theme “Nanotechnology, Engine of Creative Economy.”
In the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Sarkar was honored for years of contribution to the field of nanotechnology and received a certificate of appreciation.
A total of 420 companies from 15 countries showcased their latest achievements at the event.
