Viewers in all major Iranian cities on August 14 can receive programs of Channel 3, one of the domestic TV channels, in high-definition quality. According to IRIB News, by searching the streaming channels, viewers can find “IRIB 3 HD." Currently, the program is still in its pilot phase and the channel is only broadcasted in HD in Tehran and other provincial capitals. But according to an announcement, the whole national broadcasting system will be upgraded in the upcoming months.
