A new website to promote art exhibitions has been launched in the Persian language. Artgalleries.ir profiles information on upcoming art events, artists behind the works and the medium used. The website lists art galleries in Tehran, clicking on which redirects users to the original website of the gallery where one can read up on each show. It also features the location of each venue on a map, Webna reported. The website registered by Maliheh Azadan selects and promotes one show as the top event of the month on a regular basis. Every year, art galleries in the capital host over 1,000 art exhibitions, which have made Tehran the artistic hub of the country.
