The Sixth International Aviation and Space Industries Exhibition is slated to open in the west of the Iranian capital on Wednesday. Amin Salari, the head of the Union of Aerospace Industries of Iran, told Mehr News Agency on Monday that Chitgar artificial lake would host the exhibition since it can accommodate planes and helicopters with a capacity of 2-12 people. Salari added, “Foreign and domestic companies, government companies active in aerospace industry and other airlines will participate in the exhibition." The official noted that foreign companies, with expertise in repair, maintenance, manufacture and logistics, will participate in the exhibition along with their experts. “The exhibition will host 15 training workshops and three specialized seminars. A competition will also be held on 'Drone and Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Design and Innovation', 'Flying Robots for Reconnaissance and Neutralization Mission' and 'Flying Robots With Maximum Flight Endurance',” Salari said. The exhibition is scheduled for November 25-27.
