The secretariat of Islamic-Iranian Banquets has released a formal statement accusing the Mobile Telecommunications Company of Iran (Hamrahe-Aval or MCI) of intellectual infringement. MCI announced a photo contest on social networking site, Instagram, asking users to show their post-fasting meals, called Iftar. The statement says the secretariat owns the copyright to such contests when they first initiated them in 2008.
