The tariffs on fish products exported to Turkey have been reduced from 16 to 5 percent, following a preferential trade agreement between the two countries late last year, ISNA reported Monday. According to the news agency the tariffs are set to reach zero in the near future. Officials are hoping that the PTA will pave the way for increasing fish exports to 3,000 tons a year from the current 1,000 tons. Tehran and Ankara signed a PTA on December 31, cutting tariffs on 265 items.
