President Hassan Rouhani has personally ordered the allocation of 10 trillion rials ($370 million) in subsidy to the production sector by the yearend (March 20), Eghtesad news quoted Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs Ali Tayebnia as saying on Wednesday. The news comes as some government officials and private firms claim that the production sector has not received any subsidy since the beginning of the current year. Production subsidy is usually paid in the form of providing facilities, while in this case the earmarked subsidy will be paid in cash, Tayebnia said.
