SMEs Account for 10% of Iran's Exports
SMEs Account for 10% of Iran's Exports

Small- and medium-sized enterprises account for just over 10% of Iran's total exports, according to Managing Director of small Industries Investment Guarantee Fund Mohammad Hossein Moqeiseh.
By definition, enterprises run by 500 workers and 100 workers or fewer are considered small- and medium-sized enterprises respectivel.
According to Deputy Industries Minister Sadeq Najafi, SMEs constitute 92% of Iran’s 85,000 manufacturing enterprises.
