Iran H1 Goods Transit Through Iran Sees 2% Growth

Close to 4.95 million tons of oil and non-oil commodities were transited through Iran during the first half of the current Iranian year (March 21-Sept. 22) to register a 2% rise compared with the corresponding period of last year.
According to Director General of Hormozgan Road Maintenance and Transportation Organization Daryoush Baqer-Javan, more than 1.46 million tons of commodities were transited from Shahid Rajaee Port in the city of Bandar Abbas in the southern Hormozgan Province during the six-month period, which accounted for close to 30% of the transit goods.
