The ninth joint meeting of port managers of Caspian countries wrapped up in the port city of Aktau in Kazakhstan on Wednesday.
Setting up regular shipping routes to improve container transport services in the Caspian Sea, simplifying shipping procedures through Iran-Persian Gulf-India, sharing cargo and customers’ information and promoting maritime tourism were the main agreements reached by the port managers of Azerbaijan, Iran, Russia, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan during the two-day event, Mehr News Agency reported.
