Qeshm Exports Up 48 Percent

More than 76,170 tons of non-oil commodities were exported from Qeshm Island’s ports during the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 21-Aug. 22) to register a 48% growth compared with the similar period of last year.
According to Qeshm Ports and Maritime Organization’s Director Ali Ashtari, a total of 2.42 million tons of goods were loaded and unloaded in the ports over the period. 
Non-oil and oil products accounted for more than 2.63 million tons and 42,280 tons of the sum respectively, the news portal of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development reported.
