Bushehr Exports Hit $3.4 Billion

Around 7.2 million tons of non-oil commodities worth $3.4 billion were exported from the southern Bushehr Province during the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21-July 22), showing a 38% rise in value compared with the corresponding period of last year.
According to Behrouz Qarehbeygi, the deputy head of Bushehr Customs Office’s General Bureau for Exports and Transit, the exported goods over the four-month period mainly included gas condensates, petrochemicals, cement, fish, shrimps, agricultural products and gypsum, IRNA reported. About 37.8 million tons of commodities worth $15.08 billion were exported from Bushehr Province in the last fiscal year (ended March 20, 2018), the head of Bushehr Industries, Mining and Trade Organization announced. Speaking to IRNA, Hossein Hosseini Mohammadi added that China, South Korea, the UAE, India, Japan, Indonesia, Turkey, Taiwan, Kenya and Qatar were the main customers.
