Iran traded 1.30 million tons of non-oil commodities worth $108.92 million with Kuwait during the first four months of the current Iranian fiscal year (March 21-July 22), registering an 89.95% and 4.85% increase in tonnage and value respectively compared with last year’s corresponding period, latest data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show. Iran’s exports to Kuwait stood at 1.29 million tons worth $101.34 million, up 89.63% and 23.46% in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year. Kuwait was Iran’s 18th export destination during the period. Iran mainly exported steel products, clinker and direct-reduced iron to Kuwait during the four-month period.
