About 400 thousand heads of livestock have been exported in the current fiscal year (ending March 20) and plans are underway to increase the rate to one million heads in less than a year, Karamali Ghandi, the head of Organization for Nomadic Affairs (ONA) told IRNA on Saturday. In the wake of severe droughts affecting 10 provinces over the past two years, the administration has allocated 238 billion rials ($8.8 billion at official exchange rate) to finance water supply across the country.
