$43m of Investment in Fruit Processing Factory

A private company in Kurdestan Province will build a fruit processing factory in Marivan County.  “Around 3.5 trillion rials (more than $43.75 million) will be invested into the project,” the head of Kurdestan’s Agricultural Jihad Organization, affiliated with the Agriculture Ministry, said. “The factory will have the capacity to produce 75,000 to 80,000 tons of processed fruit products. Moreover, it will be the first food unit to produce malt extract in the country,”
