Kazakh Preferential Trade

Kazakhstan is poised to commence its preferential trade with Iran, Vallyollah Afkhamirad, the head of Trade Promotion Organization (TPO), said after visiting Emiriev Baghdad Kultaovich, the Kazakh ambassador to Tehran. As ISNA reported on Friday, Iran eagerly seeks to sign contracts on preferential trade with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU or EEU) including Kazakhstan, Afkhamirad said. In the course of expanding bilateral ties with Kazakhstan, an Iranian trade delegation will travel to Astana in the near future.  The Kazakh official, for his part, vowed that his country will try its best to improve ties with Iran and described having mutual trade and industrial ties with Iran as priorities of his country.
