Exports From Kurdestan Witness 78% Jump in Value

Kurdestan Province in western Iran exported 635,000 tons of commodities worth $402 million in the first four months of the current Iranian year (March 21- July 22) to register a 100% and 78% rise in tonnage and value respectively compared with last year’s corresponding period.
The statistics were announced by Director General of Kurdestan Customs Administration Bakhtiyar Rahmanipour.
Iraq is the top destination for the province’s export, with a 98% share, followed by Afghanistan, Pakistan, Russia, Romania and Armenia, IRNA reported.
