Peanut Imports at $34 Million Last Year

Close to 28,117 tons of peanuts worth about $34 million were imported into Iran from seven countries during the last Iranian year (March 2017-18), based on figures released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration.
China, with around 14,310 worth over $18 million, was the main exporter of the nut, followed by India, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Nigeria and Afghanistan, Mizan Online News Agency reported.
